FlipBelt Leggings Review: The Best Pockets in the Game?

I am always looking for gear that can carry my supplies for my long runs (phone, gels, keys, etc.), and one of my go to brands is FlipBelt. I’ve used their original belt for years, but I was recently gifted with a pair of the FlipBelt Leggings. I’ve been wearing them for a few weeks now and I am absolutely in love with them. The main reason for my obsession? Pockets. And not just any pockets, but pockets that are so well-designed that nothing moves or bounces around during my workout.

Let’s start with the waistband. The FlipBelt Leggings have a wide, high waistband that includes two slits in the sides, which creates a pocket all along the front waistband. It also has a rear zippered pocket large enough to fit my phone, keys, and a few other small items. I can even fit my phone in its bulky case with no problem! The waistband pocket is also stretchy enough that it doesn’t feel tight or uncomfortable when I have things in it.

But what really sets these leggings apart is the side pockets. They’re deep and spacious, and they sit on the outside of the thighs, which makes them easy to access without having to contort myself into weird positions. I can fit gels, a small snack, and even a FlipBelt water bottle in these pockets without anything jostling around or bouncing during my run.

Speaking of the FlipBelt water bottle, it’s a great addition to these leggings. It’s a flat, flask-like bottle that slides easily into one of the side pockets. It’s not too bulky, and it’s the perfect size for a shorter run or workout. The bottle is also BPA-free and dishwasher safe, which is always a plus in my book.

Now, let’s talk about the leggings themselves. The fabric is a medium weight, which I find perfect for both outdoor and indoor workouts. It’s not too thick that I get too hot, but not so thin that it feels flimsy or see-through. The fabric also has a nice stretch to it that feels supportive without being restrictive. I’m really impressed with the quality of these leggings. The pockets are a game-changer, and the quality of the leggings themselves is top-notch. I highly recommend giving them a try!
